Die Burg Bourscheid entstand wahrscheinlich im 10. Jahrhundert, die erste urkundliche Erwähnung stammt jedoch aus dem Jahr 1095. Bei umfangreichen Ausbauarbeiten im 14. und 15. Jahrhundert wurde sie mit einer Festungsmauer mit 6 gotischen Türmen versehen. Die Regierung hat diese im 19. Jahrhundert verlassene Burgruine gekauft und der Öffentlichkeit zugänglich gemacht. Das Stolzemburger Haus ist ein wertvolles gotisches Herrenhaus aus dem Jahr 1348. Hier wurde ein kleines Museum eingerichtet, das die Geschichte der Burg und der Herren von Bourscheid erzählt. In diesem Zusammenhang finden auch die Bourscheider Kulturwochen statt. Jeden Abend bis zu 24 Stunden lang beleuchtet.
