Auf einer breiten asphaltierten Straße gelangt man über den Weiler Groestaen auf ein Hochplateau, auf dem man den Tourismus hinter sich gelassen hat. Auf dem Weg dorthin sind Sie auch am Mont St. Nicolas vorbeigekommen, wo Sie die oben beschriebenen Super Basins bewundern können. Kurz nach den Stauseen verengt sich die Straße und bietet nach allen Seiten ein schönes Panorama. Die kurvige, mal absteigende, mal ansteigende schmale Straße führt über einen Bergrücken voller dunkler hoher Nadelbäume und führt Sie in das malerische Tal der Blees.
