Tour 8: Ein Tor zum Luxemburger Westen ist eine Reitroute von 19 Kilometern Länge. Ein Highlight entlang des Weges ist die Ruine des Wasserschlosses Pettingen in der Gemeinde Mersch. Die Wasserburg stammt aus dem 10. Jahrhundert und ist von einer hohen Mauer umgeben, die ein unregelmäßiges Quadrat bildet. Die Ruine ist frei zugänglich und ein interessantes historisches Zeugnis.
