Das Leiden Universitätsmedizinzentrum ist das akademische Krankenhaus, das mit der Universität Leiden verbunden ist. Es besteht aus einer Zusammenarbeit zwischen dem Akademischen Krankenhaus Leiden und der medizinischen Fakultät der Universität Leiden. Das AZL wurde 1998 in LUMC umbenannt, genauso wie die meisten akademischen Krankenhäuser in den Niederlanden in Universitätsmedizinzentren umbenannt wurden. Das LUMC befindet sich in Fußnähe hinter dem Hauptbahnhof in Leiden.
