Kastellgarten Oud-Valkenburg
Im Heemparkbereich gibt es viel Platz für heimische Flora. Etwa vierhundert Pflanzenarten, die typisch für die Südlimburgische Flora sind, wurden dort gesammelt. Zudem wurden alte Feldfrüchte und Gemüse gepflanzt. Auch kann man in einem schön angelegten Kräutergarten die Düfte und Farben zahlreicher Heil- und Küchenkräuter genießen. Außerdem gibt es auch Tierleben zu sehen. Im Wasserteich wimmelt es von Wasserschnecken, Salamandern und grünen Fröschen. Bienen fliegen hin und her, besonders um die Imkerei herum. Beim Garten befindet sich auch die Wassermühle Sjloens Meule, die ebenfalls besichtigt werden kann.

Montag bis Sonntag von 10.30 bis 16.30 Uhr (26. April bis 4. Oktober)
Eintritt: Erwachsene 3 Euro; Senioren 2 ½ Euro; Kinder bis 16 Jahre: 1 Euro
