Kasteel Hoensbroek oder Gebrookhoes (Kasteel Gebrook) ist eines der größten Schlösser der Niederlande. Der älteste Teil des Schlosses, insbesondere der hohe runde Turm, stammt aus etwa 1360, als Herman Hoen es umbauen ließ. Im Jahr 1225 gab es in diesem Moor (oder Gebrook) bereits einen Vorgänger, eine sogenannte Motte-Burg. 1250 wurde an der Stelle des heutigen Schlosses ein befestigtes Haus erbaut. Aufgrund seiner für Brabant sehr strategischen Lage an den wichtigen Handelsrouten nach Maastricht, Aachen und Köln wurde das Schloss in aufeinanderfolgenden Phasen zu der größten Burg zwischen Maas und Rhein ausgebaut. Es enthält 67 Säle, Zimmer und Räume.
