In den Feldern rund um Slenaken findest du an der Oberfläche hellbraune Steine. Das sind Feuersteine, Kiesel oder ''flintstones'', die aus den darunter liegenden Kreideablagerungen stammen. Neben der Tatsache, dass man damit Feuer machen kann (riech einfach an den Steinen, wenn du sie gegeneinander schlägst), wurden sie in der Vorgeschichte auch verwendet, um Werkzeuge wie Messer, Äxte und Pfeilspitzen herzustellen.
