Middenbeemster ist ein Dorf in der Gemeinde Purmerend in der niederländischen Provinz Nordholland. Im Jahr 2021 hatte das Dorf 5.025 Einwohner. Middenbeemster ist das älteste Dorf der Beemster. Mit der Anlage eines rechteckigen Platzes im Jahr 1610 und dem Bau der Kirche im Jahr 1623 an diesem Platz entstand schnell ein Viertel, das größer war als die meisten Viertel in der Beemster, die seit der Entwässerung entstanden waren. Die Kirche, die erste protestantische Keyser- oder Beemsterkirche, wurde von dem Stadtarchitekten von Amsterdam, Hendrick de Keyser, entworfen. Der Platz wurde im Mittelstück der Beemster angelegt, von dem der Ortsname abgeleitet ist.
