Margraten ) ist eine ehemalige Gemeinde im Süden der niederländischen Provinz Limburg. Die Gemeinde hatte 13.370 Einwohner und eine Fläche von 5767 Hektar. Am 1. Januar 2011 wurde die Gemeinde aufgelöst und wurde Teil der neuen Gemeinde Eijsden-Margraten.
Die Gemeinde Margraten in ihrer zuletzt bekannten Form entstand bei der kommunalen Neugliederung am 1. Januar 1982. An diesem Datum wurden die bis dahin selbständigen Gemeinden Margraten, Cadier und Keer, Noorbeek, Mheer, Bemelen und Sint Geertruid sowie der Kern Scheulder der ehemaligen Gemeinde Wijlre zusammengeschlossen.
