Altforst ist ein Dorf in der Gemeinde West Maas en Waal in der niederländischen Provinz Gelderland. Die Gemeinde West Maas en Waal entstand 1984 nach der Neugliederung der Gemeinden Appeltern, Dreumel und Wamel. Vor 1984 war Altforst Teil der Gemeinde Appeltern.
In Altforst stehen zwei Kirchen, eine katholische und eine protestantische. Die protestantische Kirche wird jedoch nicht mehr als solche genutzt und fungiert jetzt als Museum für moderne Kunst.
