Es liegt nördlich von Warns, nordöstlich von Stavoren, südlich von Hindeloopen und südwestlich von Koudum. Der Dorfkern liegt dort, wo De Gronzen auf De Fenke und Het Wijd trifft, das in den Dijkvaart am IJsselmeer mündet. Entlang des Dijkvaart befindet sich auch ein Ferienpark und im südlichen Dorfgebiet liegt am Wasser De Geeuw ein Bungalowpark und ein Yachthafen. Im Jahr 2021 hatte das Dorf 360 Einwohner.
