Wusstest du, dass Utrecht Flo implementiert hat: ein Verkehrssystem für Fahrräder. Der Kern des Systems ist die lange, blaue Kiosk entlang eines Radwegs. Mithilfe von Sensoren wird die Geschwindigkeit der Radfahrer gemessen. Und dann folgt ein symbolischer Ratschlag. Wenn die Radfahrer schneller treten müssen, um das grüne Licht zu erreichen, sehen sie einen Hasen. Andernfalls eine Schildkröte. "Unsere Mission ist es, das Radfahren noch angenehmer zu machen, und aus diesem Grund haben wir nach einer spielerischen Möglichkeit gesucht, um Radfahrern zu helfen", sagt Jan-Paul de Beer, der Leiter von Springlab, einem in Utrecht ansässigen Innovationsunternehmen, das Flo entworfen hat.
