Das sehr alte Dorf Mesch, im Südosten von Eijsden, beherbergt eine der ältesten Kirchen der Niederlande, die Kirche St. Pancratius. Es handelt sich um eine schlichte Kirche ohne Kirchenschiff, deren Nordwand eine beeindruckende Fischgrätenmauer (?Opus Spicatum?) aufweist. Diese Wand zeugt vom hohen Alter der Kirche, die vermutlich aus dem 10. Jahrhundert stammt. Im Jahr 1888 wurde das Gebäude erweitert und der jetzige Turm erbaut. Der Chor besteht aus Mergel. Die Kirche umfasst eine wunderschöne Statue ihres Schutzpatrons aus dem späten 14. Jahrhundert. St. Pancratius wird dort als tapferer Ritter in Rüstung dargestellt, der ein Schild schwingt.
