Die Kennemerduinen sind bekannt für den hohen Dünenrand im Osten des Dünengebiets, mit dem höchsten Punkt, dem Brederodeberg (45 Meter). Diese Düne zwischen dem Eingang Duin und Kruidberg und Bleek und Berg stellt vor allem eine sportliche Herausforderung dar, da durch die Vegetation keine weite Aussicht besteht.
Das direkt am Nationalpark gelegene Kopje von Bloemendaal (43 Meter; mit Aussichtsplattform 52 Meter) bietet jedoch einen sehr weiten Ausblick (über den Nationalpark, über das Meer, über Haarlem und über Amsterdam).
