Schouwerzijl ist ein Dorf in der Gemeinde Het Hogeland in der niederländischen Provinz Groningen. Das Dorf zählte 2021 laut CBS 95 Einwohner. Das Dorf hat einen Anlegeplatz für Freizeitboote am Reitdiep. Das Dorf ist nach dem Siel im Kromme Raken und der nahegelegenen Wurt Schouwen benannt. Rund um das Schleusentor ist ein Dorf entstanden, während auf der Wurt, nach der das Dorf benannt ist, nur noch ein einziger Hof übrig geblieben ist. Dieser Hof wird traditionell Vledderbosch genannt; ursprünglich befand sich hier ein Vorwerk des Oldeklosters zu Kloosterburen.
