Driel ist ein Dorf in der Gemeinde Overbetuwe in Gelderland mit 4.375 Einwohnern. Es liegt im Südwesten von Arnhem am südlichen Rheinufer. Driel ist international bekannt für die Schlacht um Arnhem. Im Zweiten Weltkrieg spielte der Ort eine wichtige Nebenrolle aufgrund der Luftlandung und der Schlacht der alliierten Truppen im September 1944, im Rahmen der Operation Market Garden.
