Oostwold ist ein Dorf in der Gemeinde Oldambt in der niederländischen Provinz Groningen. Es gehörte von 1808 bis 1989 zur Gemeinde Midwolda, danach bis 2009 zur Gemeinde Scheemda. Das Dorf hat 1.415 Einwohner. Oostwold ist seit 1991 ein geschütztes Dorfbild, das 2011 erweitert wurde. Zu Oostwold gehören die Weiler Oostwolderpolder, Lutje Loug, Meerland und Ekamp. Ein Teil von Meerland und Ekamp gehört seit 2005 zum neuen Dorf Blauwestad, während das Gebiet De Binnenlanden in das Oldambtmeer aufgenommen wurde. Die Polder rund um Oostwold waren Kerkelaan, Oud-Nieuwland, Nieuwland, Oostwolderpolder, Finsterwolderpolder und Huninga-Meerland. Zu den wichtigsten Kanälen gehören Alte Geut und Molensloot, früher auch Goldhoorner Zwet, Koediep, Alte Ae, Meerlandse Uitwatering und Papegat.
