Westeremden, früher Emetha genannt, ist ein Dorf in der Gemeinde Eemsdelta in der niederländischen Provinz Groningen mit 350 Einwohnern am 1. Januar 2021. Es ist ein geschütztes Dorfbild. Westeremden liegt im Westen der alten Landschaft Fivelingo, in der Nähe der Grenze zu Hunsingo, von der es durch die Maarvliet im Westen des Dorfes getrennt wird. Rund um das Dorf liegen die Dörfer Garsthuizen, Zeerijp, Loppersum, Stedum und Huizinge sowie die Weiler Vierburen, Westeremder Voorwerk, Stork und De Har.
