Roosteren ist ein Kirchdorf mit etwa 1.430 Einwohnern in der niederländischen Provinz Limburg, in der Gemeinde Echt-Susteren. Geografisch gesehen ist der Ort der nördlichste Punkt von Süd-Limburg, obwohl er formal zu Mittel-Limburg gehört. Roosteren liegt an der Maas, gegenüber der belgischen Stadt Maaseik. An der östlichen Seite des Dorfes verläuft der Julianakanal, parallel dazu die Autobahn A2.
