Ter Heijde, auch manchmal Ter Heijde aan Zee genannt, ist ein Dorf in der Gemeinde Westland in der niederländischen Provinz Südholland. In Ter Heijde wohnen 735 Menschen. Das Dorf ist bekannt durch die Seeschlacht vor der Küste zwischen der niederländischen und der englischen Flotte, bei der Maarten Tromp fiel. Zu seinem Gedenken steht in Ter Heijde ein Denkmal, das aus zwei Kanonen besteht. 2003 wurde zu Ehren des Todes von Admiral Tromp das Trompfestival veranstaltet, das die Gemeinde Monster und später die Gemeinde Westland viel Geld kostete aufgrund zu geringer Einnahmen.
