IJhorst ist ein Dorf in der Gemeinde Staphorst in der niederländischen Provinz Overijssel. IJhorst liegt im Reestdal-Gebiet an der Grenze zwischen Overijssel und Drenthe und hat 1.550 Einwohner. In IJhorst steht eine 1823 erbaute Kirche mit einem freistehenden Glockenstuhl. Dieses Kirchengebäude wurde 1995 restauriert. Die Kirche wird von der reformierten Gemeinde IJhorst/De Wijk genutzt. Übrigens weicht das Dorf in Bezug auf die Religiosität stark vom Rest der Gemeinde Staphorst ab, da es viel weniger orthodox ist.
