Schinveld ist ein ländliches Dorf in der Gemeinde Beekdaelen. Vom 1. Januar 1982 bis zum 31. Dezember 2018 war sie die Hauptstadt der Gemeinde Onderbanken in Niederländisch-Limburg. Das Dorf liegt nahe der deutschen Grenze. Als Schinveld noch zur Gemeinde Onderbanken gehörte, befand sich das Rathaus in Schinveld. Das Dorf hat 4.640 Einwohner und ist die zweitgrößte Stadt von Beekdaelen.
