Waterhuizen ist ein Dorf in der Gemeinde Midden-Groningen in der Provinz Groningen in den Niederlanden. Es liegt am Winschoterdiep, an der Stelle, wo die Hunze heute in das Tief mündet.
Es ist vor allem bekannt wegen der ersten Querrampe, die man begegnet, wenn man von Groningen aus entlang des Kanals in Richtung Hoogezand fährt. Von 1971 bis 2014 war das Eisenbahnmuseum Waterhuizen im Dorf ansässig.
