Der Roertunnel ist ein Landtunnel der Rijksweg 73. Der Tunnel wurde am 18. Februar 2008 für den Verkehr freigegeben. Mit 2450 Metern ab der Eröffnung im Jahr 2008 war er der längste Landtunnel für den Autoverkehr in den Niederlanden, der seit Juli 2020 eröffnete Gaasperdammertunnel ist mit einer Länge von 3 Kilometern der längste Landtunnel für den Autoverkehr in den Niederlanden. Der Roertunnel besteht aus zwei Tunnelröhren, die durch einen Fluchtweg voneinander getrennt sind. Im Tunnel gilt eine Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 100 km/h. Die Tunnelröhren sind mit einem ferngesteuerten Löschsystem ausgestattet.
