Die Kalverstraat in Amsterdam verläuft von Nord nach Süd vom Dam bis zum Muntplein, parallel zum Rokin. Die Straße ist etwa einen Kilometer lang und hat 15 Nebenstraßen und -gassen. In der Mitte wird sie vom Spui gekreuzt. Die Heiligeweg ist eine wichtige Nebenstraße.
Die Kalverstraat ist eine Einkaufsstraße mit etwa 150 Geschäften. Es ist eine Fußgängerzone. An der Kalverstraat befinden sich viele Denkmäler, darunter das ehemalige Bürgerwaisenhaus, die H.H. Petrus- und Paulus-Kirche und das Weeshuispoort.
