Der Schornstein dieser 1936 nach einem Entwurf des Architekten J.C.M. van Duijne erbauten Rokerij an der Dr. Lelykade 188-196 ist von weitem sichtbar. Diese zuletzt erhaltene Rokerij im Hafen von Scheveningen erinnert an die reiche Fischereigeschichte des Dorfes. Das Gebäude enthält auch einen Boetzboden, wo bei schlechtem Wetter die Fischerfrauen die Netze boeten (= reparierten). Bei schönem Wetter saß man lieber draußen.
