Der Leuchtturm der westfriesischen Insel Ameland hat offiziell keinen Namen, wird häufig aber nach der zwischen Ameland und Terschelling gelegenen Sandbank Bornrif genannt.
Der Leuchtturm von Ameland wurde von König Willem III in Auftrag gegeben und in den Jahren 1880 bis 1881 erbaut. Das Leuchtfeuer wurde am 10. Mai 1881 erstmals in Betrieb genommen. Entworfen wurde der Turm von Quirinus Harder, die 15 einzelnen Segmente wurden von der Gießerei Nering Bögel in Deventer aus Gusseisen hergestellt und später nach Ameland verschifft, wo sie montiert wurden. Mit insgesamt 55 Metern Bauhöhe ist Bornrif der höchste Leuchtturm der westfriesischen Inseln und steht seit 1982 unter Denkmalschutz. Der Durchmesser des Turmes beträgt am Fuß 9,2 Meter und direkt unter dem Leuchtfeuer 4 Meter.
