Die Wijert ist ein Stadtteil im Stadtbezirk Helpman u.a. im Süden der niederländischen Stadt Groningen. Wegen seiner Größe wird es umgangssprachlich oft ebenfalls als Stadtteil angesehen, auch weil es alle Merkmale davon erfüllt und sogar nach dem Konzept des Stadtteils gestaltet wurde. Der älteste Teil der Nachbarschaft wurde in den 1960er Jahren gebaut. In den 1970er Jahren wurde im Süden die Wijert-Süd gebaut. Die Nachbarschaft liegt zwischen den Stadtteilen Helpman und Corpus den Hoorn. Die Straßen in der Nachbarschaft sind alle nach niederländischen Schriftstellern benannt.
