O.L.V. von Frieden. Dieser Name ziert seit 2017 die schöne Kapelle an der Oisterwijkseweg. Wenn du einen Moergestelnaar fragen würdest, wo sich die Kapelle mit diesem Namen befindet, wird er dich wahrscheinlich etwas forsch anschauen. Besser wäre es, nach "t kapelleke" zu fragen, denn so kennt jeder sie. Dass es eine zweite Kapelle mit dem Namen "O.L.V. in 't Veld" ebenfalls in Moergestel, aber an der Oirschotseweg, gibt, ist weit weniger bekannt.
1938 ließ Carol Schade mitten im Wald und in unmittelbarer Nähe seines Landhauses "Hooge Braaken" diese Kapelle aus Dankbarkeit erbauen, dass er einen schweren Verkehrsunfall überlebt hatte.
Innen findest du eine Plakette mit den Namen von Opfern des 2. Weltkriegs.
