Das bronzene Denkmal des "Segieteneer" Sjeng Duysens (1899) wurde 1988 vom damaligen Minister für Wohnungswesen, Mr. Drs. Eelco Brinkman, anlässlich der Umgestaltung des Bauernhofs in Wohnungen enthüllt. Die Statue ist ein Entwurf des Architekten Bertels.
