Das ursprüngliche Haus wurde um 1725 im Stil von Ludwig XIV. erbaut. Von diesem ältesten Bau sind nur noch einige alte Mauern am Flügel beim Park erhalten. Hinter dem Hauptgebäude liegt ein schöner Innenhof, umgeben von einem Schlossbauernhof, von dem ein Flügel ein Pferdestall enthält. Neben dem Haus liegt ein Park mit zwei Teichen, der Anfang des 20. Jahrhunderts als Verschönerung eines älteren Landschaftsparks aus etwa 1800 angelegt wurde.
Einer der Teiche hat eine Insel in der Mitte. Außerdem gibt es im Park ein Badehaus, eine ornamental Brücke und ein Sonnenuhr. Das ursprüngliche Schloss wurde erstmals 1374 unter dem Namen Huize de Dael erwähnt und war bewohnt von dem ritterlichen Geschlecht Van Vlieck. Ihre Burg soll auf der Insel im heutigen Teich gestanden haben.
