Millingen aan de Rijn ist eine Gemeinde und eine Stadt im westlichen Teil der Niederlande, in der Provinz Gelderland. Sie hat eine Bevölkerung von 5.922 (1. April 2011) und erstreckt sich über eine Fläche von 10,35 km². Innerhalb der Gemeindegrenzen gibt es keine weiteren Zentren. Die Gemeinde Millingen aan de Rijn ist Teil der Stadtregion Arnhem-Nijmegen. Die Ergänzung "an der Rijn" existiert nicht immer. Tatsächlich ist sie inkorrekt. Der Gewässer, an dem Millingen liegt, heißt Bijlandsch Kanaal. Von der deutschen Grenze bis zu dem Abzweig in die Waal und das Pannerdensch Kanaal trägt es den Namen Graf Bijland (ausgesprochen Bieland), der einst den Kanal ausgraben ließ (der Verlauf des Rheins war damals anders). Zur Gemeinde gehört auch das Weiler Zeeland zwischen Millingen und Leuth. Die Gemeinde pflegt eine Freundschaft mit der ungarischen Stadt Fertőd.
