Beets, früher Beet genannt, ist ein langgestrecktes und ziemlich grünes Dorf in der Gemeinde Edam-Volendam, in der niederländischen Provinz Noord-Holland. Das Dorf hatte im Jahr 2021 540 Einwohner. Es liegt zwischen Hoorn und Purmerend, nordöstlich von der Beemster. Es bildete zusammen mit Schardam eine selbständige Gemeinde bis 1970, als die ehemaligen Gemeinden Oosthuizen, Kwadijk, Middelie und Warder die Gemeinde Zeevang bildeten, die am 1. Januar 2016 mit der Gemeinde Edam-Volendam zusammengelegt wurde.
