Ravenswoud ist ein Dorf mit etwa 400 Einwohnern in der Gemeinde Ooststellingwerf im Osten von Friesland, den Niederlanden.
Ravenswoud wurde 1850 als Moorkoloniesiedlung gegründet. Ursprünglich aus dieser Quelle beauftragten die Eigentümer des torfhaltigen Bodens Arbeiter damit, den Torfboden abzubauen. 1871 wurde das erste Haus gebaut und 1881 kam die erste Petition für eine Schule. Nach dem Ersten Weltkrieg nahm die Bevölkerung aufgrund des Hausbaus durch die lokale Wohnungsbaugesellschaft zu. Durch die Umsiedlung typischerweise asozialer Familien bekam das Dorf einen schlechten Ruf. Ihre maroden Häuser wurden um 1949 abgerissen und das Land wurde an die Regierung oder private Käufer verkauft.
