Am 13. September 1931 wurde in Breezand die Pfarrkirche St. Johannes der Evangelist, entworfen von Herman de Vries, feierlich von Dechant Guilonard von Schagen geweiht. Diese Kirche besteht noch heute.
In Breezand ist seit dem 30. April 1993 das Museum Anna Paulowna ansässig. Im Museum wird die Trockenlegung der Anna Paulowna-Polder behandelt und der Blumenzwiebelanbau rund um Breezand. Es wird auch der Königin Anna Paulowna, der Namensgeberin der Polder, Aufmerksamkeit geschenkt.
