Das Schloss Ter Hooge ist ein Schloss aus dem 18. Jahrhundert in Middelburg. Die Geschichte von Ter Hooge reicht bis ins Mittelalter zurück. Außerdem besteht der umliegende Park seit 1947 hauptsächlich aus Eichen, Eschen und Ahornbäumen.
Der Name Ter Hooge wurde erstmals 1289 erwähnt. Höchstwahrscheinlich war es damals ein befestigter Wohnort. Das heutige Schloss enthält nur noch einige Elemente seiner Vorgänger aus dem Mittelalter. Vermutlich war der Edelmann Sijmon van der Hooge der Bauherr des ersten Schlosses. In dieser Zeit war es Brauch, dass sich ein Edelmann nach seinem Eigentum nannte, denn Sijmon van der Hooge war eigentlich ein Nachkomme des Geschlechts Van Koudekerke.
