Uden-Veghel ist eine städtische Region im Osten der Provinz Nordbrabant, die 2002 als Teilgebiet entstanden ist, wie im Regionalplan Nordbrabant 2002 beschrieben. In diesem Regionalplan, von dem der Ausführungsplan Uden-Veghel und Umgebung Teil ist, wird die gewünschte räumliche Entwicklung der Region bis zum Jahr 2015 beschrieben und festgelegt. Im Ausführungsplan ist unter anderem festgelegt, wo Wohnungsbau stattfinden soll und Gewerbegebiete angelegt werden dürfen, aber auch, was für die Natur erhalten bleiben muss.
