Der Ringdijk ist die Verlängerung des Linnaeuskade und umrahmt das alte Watergraafsmeer. Es ist eine wichtige Fahrradroute nach IJburg.
Ende des 20. Jahrhunderts war dies noch echtes Umland. Jetzt stehen dort einige überproportional große Wohngebäude. Zuerst begegnen wir dem Keatoren, mehr als 150 Mietwohnungen im freien Sektor, fertiggestellt im Jahr 2016. Samos, auch bekannt als die Zwillinge, wurde 2012 fertiggestellt, ein Komplex mit 87 Wohnungen, verkleidet mit brasilianischen Ziegelsteinen. Milos schließlich steht am Fuß des Deichs, mit 108 Wohnungen und einer schalldämmenden Hülle aus Glasplatten, die die Facetten eines Prisma darstellen.
