Der Flughafen Stavanger ist der viertgrößte Flughafen Norwegens mit 4.178.241 Passagieren im Jahr 2017. Der Flughafen hat internationale Anbindung und wird von den Königlich-Norwegischen Luftstreitkräften als Militärflugplatz mitgenutzt. Hier befindet sich auch das Flyhistorisk Museum, ein Luftfahrt-Museum mit dem Schwerpunkt Militärluftfahrt.
