Kvernes ist ein Dorf in der Gemeinde Averøy im Fylke Møre og Romsdal, Norwegen. Es liegt an der Ostküste der Insel Averøya entlang des Kvernesfjords. Die Kreisstraße 247 verläuft durch das Dorf. Es gibt zwei Kirchen in Kvernes: die Kvernes Stabkirche und die Kvernes Kirche. Die Stabkirche ist jetzt ein Museum.
Das Dorf Kvernes war von 1838 bis 1964 das Verwaltungszentrum der Gemeinde Kvernes, als die Gemeinde aufgelöst wurde.
