Die Sigismundkapelle, oder Zygmuntkapelle, ("Kaplica Zygmuntowska"), die an die Südwand des Doms grenzt, ist eines der bemerkenswertesten architektonischen Werke in Krakau und vielleicht "das reinste Beispiel für Renaissance-Architektur außerhalb Italiens." Sie wurde von König Sigismund I. dem Alten finanziert und zwischen 1517 und 1533 von Bartolomeo Berrecci erbaut.
Eine quadratische Kapelle mit einer goldenen Kuppel beherbergt die Gräber ihres Gründers sowie seiner Kinder, König Sigismund II. August und Anna Jagiellonka.
