Die Provinz Posen war eine von 1815 bis 1920 bestehende Provinz im Osten des Staates Preußen auf dem Territorium des historischen Großpolen. Die Provinz gehörte von 1848 bis 1851 teilweise zum Deutschen Bund, ab 1867 vollständig zum Norddeutschen Bund und ab 1871 zum Deutschen Reich. Sie hatte eine Fläche von knapp 29.000 km² und war landwirtschaftlich geprägt.
