Der Algibre ist ein kleiner Fluss in der portugiesischen Region Algarve. Der Algibre entsteht durch das Zusammenfließen der Flüsse Mercês und Benémola in der Nähe des Dorfes Querença in einem kleinen fruchtbaren Tal. Die Gegend ist geprägt von vielen verfallenen Schleusen und Dämmen, die aus der Zeit der arabischen Besetzung stammen, während der die gesamte Region bewässert wurde und die Landwirtschaft die vorherrschende Tätigkeit in diesem Land war. Der Fluss wird zusammen mit dem Alte, einem weiteren Nebenfluss, nach dem Zusammenfluss der beiden Flüsse zum Fluss Quarteira. Der Fluss verläuft nach Osten über 21,7 Kilometer von seinem Ursprung am Zusammenfluss.
