Das Schloss von Guimarães befindet sich im historischen Zentrum der Stadt Guimarães im Norden Portugals, das auf der UNESCO-Weltkulturerbeliste steht. Es wurde im 10. Jahrhundert n.Chr. erbaut, in einer Zeit, als es eine der wichtigsten Städte des Grafenlandes Portucale, dem Vorgänger Portugals, war. Im Jahr 2007 wurde es zu einem der sieben Wunder Portugals erklärt.
