Die Mariza, auch Maritza geschrieben , ist ein Fluss, der die Landschaft Thrakien in Südosteuropa durchfließt. In ihrem unteren Verlauf bildet sie zu einem kleinen Teil die Grenze zwischen Griechenland und Bulgarien sowie rund die Hälfte der Grenze zwischen Griechenland und der Türkei.
Die Länge des Flusses beträgt 515 km.
Er entspringt im Rila-Gebirge in Bulgarien, verläuft dann zunächst in östlicher Richtung, durchfließt die Oberthrakische Tiefebene und die großen Städte Plowdiw und Edirne, bis sich sein unteres Drittel nach Süden richtet und bei Keşan in die Ägäis mündet.
