The Fillmore war der Name von drei Musiktheatern des Konzertveranstalters Bill Graham in den Vereinigten Staaten: Fillmore East in New York City und Fillmore West als Nachfolger des Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco.
Das spätere Fillmore wurde 1912 als Tanzhalle und Tanzschule eröffnet und in italienischem Stil von den Architekten James und Merritt Reid entworfen. Als Ort für Tanzveranstaltungen wurde es unter verschiedenen Namen bis in die 1930er Jahre fortgeführt und war in den 1940er Jahren eine Rollschuhbahn. Ab 1952 ließ der Konzertveranstalter Charles Sullivan hier führende afroamerikanische Musiker wie Ike und Tina Turner und James Brown auftreten.
