Die San Francisco Cable Cars bilden die Kabelstraßenbahn in San Francisco, Kalifornien. Das bei Touristen beliebte Verkehrsmittel ist eines der wenigen beweglichen National Historic Landmarks in den Vereinigten Staaten und ist die einzige verbliebene Kabelstraßenbahn der Welt mit entkoppelbaren Wagen.
Am 2. August 1873 testete Andrew Smith Hallidie das erste Kabelbahn-System nahe Nob Hill, Clay- und Jones-Street. Ab dem 1. September 1873 startete die Clay-Street-Linie den öffentlichen Betrieb.
