Das Sony Building liegt 550 Madison Avenue, zwischen der 55. und 56. Straße und wurde von Philip Johnson und John Burgee 1979 entworfen und 1984 fertiggestellt. Ursprünglich wurde das Gebäude, welches mit rosafarbenem Granit verkleidet ist, als Zentrale für AT&T gebaut und genutzt, heute gehört das Gebäude jedoch Sony.
