Das Nassau County ist ein County im Bundesstaat New York der Vereinigten Staaten. Bei der Volkszählung im Jahr 2010 hatte das County 1.339.532 Einwohner und eine Bevölkerungsdichte von 1.805,3 Einwohnern pro Quadratkilometer. Für das Jahr 2015 schätzte das United States Census Bureau die Einwohnerzahl auf 1.361.350. Der Verwaltungssitz ist Mineola. Das Nassau County liegt auf der Insel Long Island und wurde 1898 aus dem östlichen Teil von Queens County gebildet, weil die Bewohner gegen die Eingemeindung nach New York City stimmten.
Im County liegt eine National Historic Site, die Sagamore Hill National Historic Site. Drei Orte haben den Status einer National Historic Landmark, die Sloop Christeen, die Fort Massapeag Archeological Site und das John Philip Sousa House. 139 Bauwerke und Stätten des Countys sind insgesamt im National Register of Historic Places eingetragen .
