Aroostook County ist ein County im Bundesstaat Maine der Vereinigten Staaten. Der Verwaltungssitz Shire Town des Countys ist Houlton.
Ein Teil des Gebietes des Countys gehörte zu dem umstrittenen Gebiet, das zum so genannten Aroostook-Krieg führte, einem unerklärten und unblutigen Grenzkonflikt zwischen den Vereinigten Staaten und Kanada im Winter und Frühjahr 1838/39. Nach dem vorläufigen Ende der Streitigkeiten wurde das County am 16. März 1839 gegründet. Sein Name leitet sich von einem indianischen Wort ab, das „wunderschöner Fluss“ bedeutet.
